Less than a year before the parliamentary and municipal elections were held in Lebanon, the Lebanese Transparency Association - no corruption, LADE, Maharat Foundation and LUPD - LB launched the "Electoral Reform Coalition" during a press conference that was held this morning, in which the coalition demanded the Parliament to come together and amend the articles of the election law, and which are related to the magnetic electronic card and the election to happen through the place of residence, in addition to allocating six seats for non-residents.

The coalition also stressed the need for the state to adhere to the standards that make polling stations inclusive and accessible to all marginalized social groups, particularly people with disabilities.
