Miriam Osman is an intern in Lebanese Transparency Association (LTA). She received her BA in Political Science with a minor in Public Administration and an emphasis in Law in 2014 from the American University of Beirut. She is currently completing her Bachelor in Law at Sagesse University. In Fall 2013, Miriam completed the Inter-University Program on “International Criminal Law and Law Procedure” organized by the Special Tribunal of Lebanon (STL), later in June 2013, she participated in a Summer School on the International Criminal Court at the National University of Ireland in Galway. In spring 2015, she interned at Makke Law Firm. Being a national observer during the Lebanese Municipal elections of 2016 with the Lebanese Association for Democratic Elections (LADE) has raised her awareness on important political values such as democracy, anti-corruption and transparency. This has pushed her interests and willingness to pursue an internship at LTA.
