Mr. Badri El Meouchi - President

A young executive, leader, and consultant who works collaboratively with clients across the globe to help them develop and implement corporate governance, in addition to building and implementing anti-corruption mechanisms. He possesses extensive training and facilitation experience with large and small organizations worldwide.
He acted as an Executive Director of the Lebanese Transparency Association (LTA - Transparency International’s chapter in Lebanon), and the executive director of the Institute of Directors (IoD) in Lebanon from 2005 to 2012. He supervised and coordinated LTA’s public and private sector programs to promote good governance and transparency in Lebanon, and IoD’s efforts to promote Corporate Governance (CG) in Lebanon and the region. Such initiatives have included the development and launching of CG Codes and raising awareness in the private sector on the principles and benefits of CG through: organizing conferences, facilitating workshops and identifying companies which can serve as case studies in applying CG. During this time, Badri was also working in partnership with the International Finance Corporation’s (IFC) Corporate Governance Project in Lebanon, which aimed to offer Lebanese and Arab companies with a variety of services through the IoD – including CG Assessments and Implementation Plans, as well as training courses for board members and top management.
Since 2012, Badri consulted and provided advisory services on corporate governance, project management and anti-corruption policies to a variety of international organizations as well as individual banks, companies and NGOs in the MENA region. He has also served as a regional consultant for the UNDP, where he was responsible for developing and disseminating a course on collective action and good governance targeting SMEs across the MENA region.
Badri also joined Tamayyaz in 2015 as a Corporate Governance Consultant and has been developing new Corporate Governance Services in order to helps SMEs develop and implement governance framework within their organizations.

Mr. Mosbah Majzoub - vice president

Mosbah Majzoub is an expert in Corporate Governance and Corporate Finance. Currently, he holds the position of Managing Director at Majzoub and Parters, Members of Nexia International. Majzoub and Partners is a firm which is accredited by the Ministry of Finance to carry out audit assignments for the Lebanese Public Sector. He is a Board Member of the Lebanese Association of Certified Public Accountants. In addition, Mr. Majzoub is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA), and an Associate Member of the Chartered institute of Arbitrators UK. His credentials also include being the Head of the Audit Committee of the Lebanese Transparency Association and holds a Diploma in IFRS (Dip IFR) issued by the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants (ACCA). He was also formerly a Board Member of the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA).

Mrs. Fida Jadayel Turk - Secretary

Fida Jadayel Turk was born in 1966 in Beirut and attended the Lebanese Evangelical School for girls (LESG). She graduated with a Lebanese Baccalaureate II in Experimental Sciences in 1983. Mrs. Turk attained her bachelor degree in Business with an emphasis on accounting in 1986, a master’s degree in Business management in 1989 from the Lebanese American University, and a University Diploma in Health codification from the University of Saint Joseph USJ in 2004.
Mrs. Turk’s objective is to serve her community through investing her extensive experience and resources. She is currently the procurement acting manager and the internal audit manager at the Makassed Philanthropic Association of Beirut, while also working as a university instructor at the American University of Science and Technology (AUST).

She is a non-practicing member at the Lebanese Association of Certified Public Accountants (LACPA) and was a sworn expert in front of the Lebanese courts – Accounting - for the period 1992-2004. She is also a member in the Institute of Internal Auditors (IIA), Association of Certified Fraud Examiners (ACFE), and Lebanese Management Association (LMA).

She had previously been a board member of the Barraj Hospital, under the custody of Dar Al Fatwa. She has over twenty eight years of considerable experience in both the public and private sector. Her experience covers external and internal auditing, financial management, procurement, and also teaching accounting, auditing and taxation at a university level. In addition, she provides trainings in seminars and workshops, and lectures at conferences.

She was the head of internal audit department at Rafic Hariri University Hospital – government entity - for twelve years from Oct. 2003 till Dec. 2015. During this period she had acted as the Head of Finance and Administrative Affairs from June 2005 till Aug. 2007 and the Head of Procurement and Material Management from Dec. 2010 till Aug. 2014. 

Mrs. Turk has a substantial background of over ten years of experience in the auditing profession. Starting in 1988, she has worked with several international audit firms such as Arther Anderson, Horwath International, Talal Abou Ghazaleh, and PricewaterhouseCoopers (PWC). As such, she has covered several industries and sectors ranging from banks, manufacturing, trading and real estate companies, schools, orphanages, and newspapers. Additionally, she has gained experience in internal auditing at the Arab African International Bank as well as financial management at Finance bank and 123 Holding. 

With over 16 years of experience in teaching at a university level on the subjects of accounting, auditing and taxation; and supervising research projects with emphasis on professional ethics, corporate governance and corporate social responsibility (CSR). She continues to enhance her career by attending and lecturing in conferences, seminars, and workshops which are organized by her member organizations such as the Bassel Fuleihan Economic and Financial Institute of Ministry of Finance.

Mrs. Rania Uwaydah Mardini-Treasurer

Rania Uwaydah Mardini received her BBA (with Distinction, 1996) and MBA (Finance, 1999) from the American University of Beirut. She passed the CPA Examination in 1999 - with all scores within the top 10 percentile - in California where she maintains an active CPA license to date. Soon after, she joined Ernst & Young (EY), Beirut office. She left EY In 2003 to join the Olayan School of Business at the American University of Beirut (OSB) where she remains a full-time faculty member, a core course coordinator, and a core / special advisor.  In 2010, she obtained her Lebanese CPA license.  In February 2015, she became a Certified Fraud Examiner.
Rania is a board member of the Lebanese Transparency Association, the Lebanese chapter of Transparency International, an Editorial Board Member of the Journal of Business Valuation and Economic Loss Analysis, a refereed academic journal, and a member of the Undergraduate Curriculum Committee and the Undergraduate Student Academic Affairs Committee of the Olayan School of Business. She is also a member of both the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (voting) and the Association of Certified Fraud Examiners, as well as the latter’s Training Committee. She has served as a consultant for the United Nations Development Program’s (UNDP) regional project on Anti-Corruption and Integrity in the Arab Countries (ACIAC). She has authored a case on corporate governance for the International Finance Corporation (IFC) – member of the World Bank Group and co-authored three scholarly articles. Rania is also a co-author of the second Middle East edition of McGraw-Hill’s Managerial Accounting  textbook and the acknowledged contributor to the previous one. Her teaching experience spans an array of subjects relating to the accounting profession and tasks pertaining to content development, delivery and assessment. Besides her academic teaching at the University, she has conducted several workshops, trainings, and conference presentations for: the UNDP, the Lebanese Association of Certified Public Accountants, OSB’s Office of Executive Education, and the Institute of Finance of the Lebanese Ministry of Finance, among others.
